Softball - BATS vs Coaches

The WIAA provided the first real opportunity to test BATS against another set of rankings. The coaches are respsonsible for the seeding teams in their sectional. The following chart summarizes the prediction accuracy of BATS and the coaches. 

There were 43 games where BATS and the coaches disagreed on the predicted result. The coaches were correct for 22 games, 1 more than BATS. There were also 43 upsets (11.5% of the total games) that neither BATS nor the coaches predicted.
